This graph provides a comprehensive overview of the
rate at which ticket seats were
bought for all showing of a single movie. It accumulates data for
all showtimes for a movie, for
the first 15 days of its showing. The horizontal axis represents
(t-days) left to each
showtime in the 5-day period while the vertical axis is the cumulated number of tickets bought. Each
line represents data for five-day periods of movie showings, with
data accumulated for all showtimes within the indicated time period. Comparing these lines
can show movies that slowly lost popularity after an initially fast sales or movies that had
consistent sales over the screening time.
